On Tuesday, June 5, in Warsaw, a press conference of the MPs of the Civic Platform took place – Agnieszka Pomaska, Rafał Trzaskowski, Sławomir Nitras, Cezary Tomczyk and Paweł Olszewski – entitled 'EU Funds for Polish Cities at Risk’.

MP Pomaska said: „We remember how well local governments used EU funds. If not for the EU funds, we would not have four new tram lines in Gdansk, the new airport terminal, the Pomeranian Metropolitan Railway ”

She also reminded how effectively the Polish government managed to fight for EU funds several years ago. Thanks to this, the Pomorskie Voivodeship received in the present perspective PLN 7.4 billion, which contributed to, among others, to create 4500 places for children in kindergartens.
