Always have been curious about the European Parliament? This Saturday you have the chance to visit it during the open day of the European institutions in Brussels. You have the opportunity to take part in competitions, debates and cultural activities as well as find out how the institution that represents you operates.
The day starts at 10.30 CET with Concerto de Public during which 400 visitors will be able to create an improvised piece of art together.
From 11.00 to 13.00 CET, the public can take part in a debate in the hemicycle with MEPs and political satirist Ali Ferzat, the 2011 Sakharov Prize laureate and a well-known critic of the Syrian regime.
In addition the Lux Prize-winning film Welcom, set in a French refugee camp, will be screened and there will be an exhibition by French photographer Marie Dorigny showing women refugees’ challenging journey to Europe.
