By acclamation today, Parliament adopted a special resolution in connection with the tragic death of Russian dissident Boris Nemtsov.
– Polish Sejm deeply moved by the murder of a prominent figure of the Russian opposition, joins the grief and sorrow of family, friends and all who are close to the ideas of freedom, democracy and peace – the document reads.
In its resolution, the Board also expressed the expectation that „the circumstances of the death of Boris Nemtsov will be explained, and the perpetrators do not go unpunished.”
Boris Nemtsov was shot on Friday, February 27, in the center of Moscow, near the Kremlin. He was 55 years.
