“Polish people are coming to the UK not for social benefits, but for work” – said today for the British BBC The President of the Parliamentary European Union Affairs Committee Agnieszka Pomaska.
“There is no proof, no evidence that there is a problem with immigrants from Poland. Since 2004 it is about 1% extra of GDP for UK. It is not a secret that they are helping British economy, they work here, pay the taxes and spend money here. I think all should remember that.” – added Agnieszka Pomaska.
Jacob Rees Mogg said it would not involve the UK leaving the EU, but would be used when Europe was „doing something particularly unfavourable to the United Kingdom”.
