European Ideas Network Summer University

On 15 – 17 October Agnieszka Pomaska participated in the annual European Ideas Network Summmer University which took place in Vienna. This years edition was dedicated to the subject „The World in 2025: Putting People at the Heart of Europe. The Basis for Social and Economic Recovery”.

After the last years meeting which focused mostly on the financial crisis, this years’ participants discussed issues like the crisis’ impact on social life but also the prospects of future public finance, welfare & public services reforms. Some of the roundtables discussions were also dedicated to the issues of governing strategies after the European elections, EU Nieghbourhood Policy or the future of Transatlantic Relationship.
