On Monday (16 September), the Chairwoman of the Sejm Committee for European Union Affairs Agnieszka Pomaska, accompanied by the Chairman of the Senate Committee for EU Affairs Bogdan Klich, attended a meeting of the heads of the European Affairs Committees of the parliaments of the Baltic States in Vilnius.
– In view of the tragedy facing the inhabitants of the south-western part of Poland, during the meeting in Vilnius we received a declaration of support for the flood victims from the Lithuanian Ministry of Interior,’ said Pomaska after the meeting.
– Among the heads of the EU Commission for the Baltic States, we also discussed the protection of the EU’s eastern border, energy security and preparations for the Polish Presidency, she added.
