The President of the Parliamentary European Union Affairs Committee Agnieszka Pomaska is going to participate in a seminar on Wednesday 30 January 2013 at the European Parliament in Brussels, on the theme „European political landscape analysis”.
The event is organized by the Bureau of the Group of the European People’s Party (Christian-Democrats) in the European Parliament.
With 271 Members from over fifty national parties, the EPP Group is the largest political group in the European Parliament, representing centre-right pro-European political forces of the Member States of the European Union.
This seminar will provide the opportunity for the Members of the Group to analyse the evolution of the European political landscape following the latest electoral results and their current and future impact on the composition of the European Council, and thus on the EU integration process. This discussion will help to shape the responses, based on EPP values that they could highlight at the European level, in the framework of the preparatory works for the electoral campaign for the European elections in 2014.
